The Black Bull, Polmont is a traditional bar which has recently been refurbished. Located on the High Street, The Black Bull is perfectly located for visitors to Falkirk and Linlithgow attractions including the Falkirk Wheel, Callendar Park and Linlithgow Palace. Pubs with the name ‘Black Bull' were originally stopping points for farmers transporting their cattle across the country for sale at market. The farmers would stop by for a pint of ale during their long journeys. Today the Black Bull, Polmont is still a friendly, homely, pub - minus the farm yard animals!
